- Who can take the weekly 11plus mock?
These tests are ideally designed for all year 5 students aspiring to get admission to Grammar schools, independent schools, private schools, SATs, selective eligibility tests and competitive entrance exams for UK high schools.
- Where can I take the weekly 11plus mock exam?
ONLINE MOCK EXAM - These exams can be taken from anywhere provided you have access to a computer with internet having reasonable speed. We recommend you identify a quiet place as you will need to have utmost concentration while answering the questions.
11+ MOCK at WALLINGTON - These exams are available under classroom test environment and will be held at St. Elphege's Catholic School, Mollison Drive, Wallington, SM6 9HY.
- What format are the papers?
All ONLINE papers are multiple choice format, but the questions are comparable to the standard exams and exposure to the weekly 11plus mock will assess a student's skills across different key areas. The papers for 11+ MOCK at WALLINGTON will be multiple choice. Each date will have a different set of papers.
- Will my child sit for Maths, English, Verbal and Non-Verbal papers?
No. The main purpose of these mock tests is to familiarise the children with the exam experience. The ONLINE EXAM and 11+ MOCK at WALLINGTON (classroom based) are designed to have only the Maths and English papers, but the PRACTICE PACKS available for purchase have 2 Maths, 2 English and 1 Verbal Reasoning papers.
For the actual 11+ entrance exam, you will need to check up on the specific grammar school and local education authority's web-site if your child requires English and Maths or a different combination of English, Maths, Verbal or Non-Verbal. Your child's preparation for 11 Plus exams needs to be based on this information.
ONLINE EXAM (Multiple choice) - Maths: 50 questions, 50 minutes and English: 50 questions, 40 minutes.
PRACTICE PACKS (Multiple choice) - Maths: 50 questions, 50 minutes, English: 50 questions, 40 minutes and Verbal Reasoning: 20 questions, 20 minutes.
11+ MOCK at WALLINGTON (Multiple choice, classroom based) - Maths: 70 questions, 50 minutes and English: 70 questions, 50 minutes.
- Will there be any break between the 11+ MOCK AT WALLINGTON (classroom based), tests?
Yes. All children are encouraged to visit the washroom before they take the test and are given a 15 minute break to stretch their legs halfway through the session.
- How long are my login details active?
The login that you create on weekly 11plus mock will remain active for 12 months and based on specific request this can be extended further.
- Until when can I access my paper?
The PRACTICE PACK which you purchase is only available for download. The ONLINE EXAM's question and answer sheet will remain available as long as the login details are active.
- When will the results be available?
The results from The ONLINE EXAM are immediately available on the completion of the exam.
The results from the 11+ MOCK at WALLINGTON (classroom based) are available 1 week after the exam, but will only indicate your child's marks and the marks of all the other children who appeared for the exam.
- Does my child need to bring anything for the classroom based 11+ MOCK at WALLINGTON?
In addition to their candidate details which will be given nearer the time, your child should bring 2 HB pencils, a ruler, and an eraser (a pencil sharpener is optional) in a clear pencil case. Water may be taken into the exam if it is in a clear unlabelled bottle. No food, mobile phones, calculators or other bags are allowed in the hall during test sessions.
- For the classroom based 11+ MOCK at WALLINGTON can I see the English and Maths papers and how can I get more information about my child’s result?
The papers used in the 11+ MOCK at WALLINGTON are the property of Mock Exams Ltd and will remain confidential therefore it won’t be possible to release them. The results will be published on this site and we do not offer further feedback.

- Do these mock exams guarantee a place at the grammar school?
The PRACTICE PACK, ONLINE MOCK EXAMS and 11+ MOCK at WALLINGTON gives your child an opportunity to answer questions set to an exceptionally high standard. The test and the results provide an indication of areas needing extra attention and practise. They do not guarantee your child a place at the grammar school.
a.) There is no pass mark for the 11 Plus (90% may not be sufficient, but 60% maybe). Children appearing for Mock exams are well prepared and a lower ranked child today may well achieve their first choice school.
b.) In a 11 Plus exam, completing 85 questions in 50 minutes is common, but some exams are set in excess of what a child can finish in the given time. Finishing is not a prerequisite to passing the 11 Plus, but the more questions answered will increase the chance you have of passing.
Payments can be done any time prior to appearing for the mock exam.
